2023 PRESCHOOL FEES

Offering Flexibility in Hours


It is our aim to keep our fees as affordable as possible. The fees we charge help us to ensure that we maintain a high standard of quality care and education. As a not-for-profit organization we are able to reinvest any surplus funds into developing the preschools.

A minimum enrolment of 12 hours per week. 


Absence Charges

The Centres will be closed on public holidays, no fees are incurred for public holidays.

The Centres will be closed for approximately three weeks over the Christmas and New Year period, no fees are incurred during closure.

Illness, holidays and other absences are charged at the usual weekly fees, with the exception of a retainer for 2 weeks holiday per year at a 50% discounted rate (with 2 weeks notice given).


Payment 

All fees must be paid in advance by online banking – NO eftpos is available. 

Fees may be paid weekly or fortnightly.

Work and Income NZ subsides are available for families, to find out if you are eligible please contact the preschool or WINZ.


Other charges

Nappies can be supplied for a daily fee ($1 per full day or $.50 per half day)


From time to time, excursions will be organised requiring payment to cover transport and/or entry costs. These will be notified to parents on a case by case basis and consent will be sought in each case.


Our fees include high quality teacher ratios above Ministry of Education Standards.

Fees are reviewed annually and parents will be advised in writing at least four weeks before any new fee structure comes into effect.


We also offer 20 hours FREE ECE for 3 to 5 year olds, and can advise you on Work and Income early childhood education subsidies.


20 hours FREE ECE –provides three, four and five year olds with 20 hours per week (up to 6 hours per day) early childhood education per week at no charge. 20 hours ECE is not income tested and has no discriminatory guidelines.

Work and Income childcare subsidies

Work and Income provides an early childhood education subsidy for low and middle income families with children under the age of five. For more information contact Work and Income or talk to the preschool Office Co-Administrator.
